About
JoNell Melo
The system that matters most is the one nobody has written down.
I started out waiting tables, six years of reading what people need before they say it. Then I joined the Air Force and was handed one lab at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center, reverse engineering systems: taking them apart and working out how they actually functioned. I gave it everything I had, and one lab became two, then three, and finally five, until the job I'd grown into became a position of its own. That work made me 2nd Air Force Airman of the Year and grew into rapid prototyping, and then into software and iterative development. That is where I learned to look for how the work gets done, not how anyone says it does.
Since then I've been the business analyst on software that runs RFID-tracked forklift fleets, helped a release team cut a 45-day development cycle to 3, and designed an AI operating system for a regulated financial-services practice that went from a standing start to daily use in under four months. Along the way I wrote a book, Theodicy and Other Adventures, worked out in a long argument with an AI that was wrong a great deal of the time.
All of that taught me one thing: everyone engages with technology differently. How you learn, how you work, what you want back from your week is a fingerprint, and that's why a mass course doesn't work.
What lights me up is people. I love connecting with ambitious, successful people from every field, learning how each of them approaches a problem, and seeing what they grow into. I coach one to one, with a course built around the person, and when it's time to set something up, I guide you through it step by step in your own accounts. The know-how stays with you.
My vision reaches far. I want to help build the legacy of a humanity that outlives the solar system, and the near horizon is your Tuesday morning. Let's find your anchor.
